Module 4 - Moon or Mars?

Introduction

So far, you have learned about terraforming in general, terraforming on Mars and terraforming on the Moon. In this final module, you will compare the terraforming possibilities for Mars and the Moon. Furthermore, you will explain what the pros and cons of colonizing extraterrestrial destinations.

Assignment

1. Compare your findings about Mars (module 2) and the Earth’s moon (module 3). Which destination do you think is best to colonize first and why?
Weigh the advantages and disadvantages of both destinations. For this answer you should use at least two of the resources provided below in addition to your findings (and resources) from the previous two modules.
