Introduction to Commercial Opportunities

Have you heard of the saying, “Money makes the world go ‘round?” Well, this saying is as true in space as it is on Earth. Launching space shuttles and satellites requires enormous sums of money, and money can also lure entrepreneurs into space as well. Developing commercial space transportation is critical to space exploitation and there are quite a number of companies that are working on this as we speak. Scientists have also been exploring the commercial potential of microgravity for some time and there are many promising opportunities there as well. The figures shows a Natilus Moon Cruiser, a concept that is being worked on by Biglow Aerospace. Is this science or science fiction?

The Natilus Moon Cruiser is a design of Biglow Aerospace. Will future settlers of the Moon use this to get around?
